Throughout his career, Mr. Kelton has gained extensive experience across a broad range of commercial roofing and building-envelope–related disciplines. His background includes estimating, project management, technical design support, and system analysis for both new construction and renovation projects. He has been actively involved in the investigation, design, documentation, and execution of roofing systems, allowing him to develop a comprehensive understanding of roofing assemblies, materials, codes, and construction practices.
Mr. Kelton’s varied experience has strengthened his problem-solving abilities and technical judgment, which he applies to developing constructible designs and practical solutions tailored to each project’s requirements. His work includes performing detailed take-offs, evaluating existing roof conditions, developing technical guides and specifications, and reviewing system designs for compliance with industry standards and building codes. He has collaborated closely with building owners, property managers, contractors, sales teams, engineers, and manufacturers to ensure clear communication and successful project outcomes.
In addition, Mr. Kelton has served as a technical resource for single-ply thermoplastic roofing systems, supporting customers and internal teams through system design, wind uplift analysis, warranty review, and field technical evaluations. His experience tracking job costs, reviewing submittals, and managing technical documentation reflects his attention to detail and commitment to quality. This combination of technical knowledge and field awareness enables him to approach each project holistically and deliver results that align with both performance requirements and client expectations.
